Day 1 | Rio de Janeiro
Arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Transfer to the hotel. Free time. Take in the breathtaking view as your plane descends upon Rio de Janeiro – the 'Marvelous City' where rolling green hills, turquoise ocean, sandy beaches and high-rise urban development is all packed together in a unique blend of life and humanity. The natural beauty of Rio is almost transcendental and gives you a taste of the Amazon rainforest while still retaining everything that is so incredible about a Latin American city. A walk along the mosaic tiles of Copacabana reveals much about the life of a 'carioca' (Rio local) – a refreshing caipirinha as the waves lap against the shore, a fiercely competitive game of foot volleyball, and thousands of beachgoers sunning themselves on the white sands. You have truly arrived in paradise.
Day 2 | Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at the hotel Tour to Corcovado Mountain Christ the Redeemer Statue (4 hours) After breakfast, you’ll set off on a tour through the city. Arriving at the station, where the environmentally friendly train will take you through the jungle to the top of Corcovado. On either side of the railway you will have spectacular views of the Tijuca forest, inhabited by monkeys and other exotic animals and birds. At the top of Corcovado, at an altitude of 700 m above sea level, stands the landmark of Rio – the Statue of Christ the Redeemer (38m), which was built in 1931. You will have a breathtaking panoramic view of the metropolis and its environs Bridge Niteroi, Guanabara Bay, the Botanical Garden, the world's largest soccer stadium, Sugar Loaf, and more is possible from the top of Corcovado.
Day 3 | Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at the hotel; Free time. We advise you to relax and prepare for the big Carnival party coming up! A fantastic evening is waiting for you – Rio’s famous Carnival! You will be picked up at your hotel and taken to the Sambodromo where Brazil’s biggest party takes place. You will be able to be part of this huge festival and watch the representatives of the best Samba Schools of Brazil dancing and singing in front of you in their marvelous colorful costumes. The energy coming from the passers-by can be felt in every inch of the venue, and you will definitely fall for it. Sing along with the coral, dance to the drums, get excited with each School and emotional with it’s components, all this and more. You can enjoy this mind-blowing show the whole night – as long as you want to! You also have the option to be taken back to your hotel – in case you are too tired - after every samba school.
Day 4 | Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at the hotel Excursion to the Sugar Loaf & Beaches (4 hours) A magnificent cable car ride will take you up to Urca Mountain, the stop off between ground level and Sugarloaf. From there you can enjoy a smooth cocktail or sample some of Brazil’s many signature dishes. Once arriving to the top of Sugarloaf mountain you will see the captivating beauty of Rio from a different angle, To your left you can see Copacabana beach stretching off into the distance, and on the horizon the faint outlines of Two Brothers and Gávea mountains. Below you is the quaint and intimate Red Beach, while to your right you can see across Guanabara Bay to Niterói and, closer in, Rio’s Botafogo and central neighborhoods, with the unmistakable silhouette of Christ the Saviour casting its eternal gaze over the city. This trip is essential to gain a different perspective on Rio, and to truly understand its beauty.
Day 5 | Rio de Janeiro – Foz do Iguaçu
Breakfast at the hotel; Transfer to the airport, flight to Foz de Iguacu, where you will be picked up and taken to your hotel.
Day 6 |Foz do Iguaçu
After breakfast in your hotel an unforgettable adventure awaits you at the Iguazu falls Brazilian side. “Breathtaking, spectacular and not to be missed” The Falls are one of the great natural wonders of the world and located in the National Park with its unique flora and fauna, on the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. The area is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, which consists of 275 separate falls; the highest fall, which is called “Devil's Throat”, reaches 70m, which is 1,5x the height of the Niagara Falls. It represents one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in the planet and it has unrivalled natural richness. You will start your tour to the Brazilian site of the magnificent Falls. The Iguaçu National Park, Brazil is at 25 kilometers from Foz do Iguaçu city. It has a 1 kilometer long walkway from which the 275 falls can be seen from a front panoramic view. The splashes coming from the falling water make you feel the falls grandeur and cover the sky with thousands of rainbows. In the evening, you will be transferred to your hotel with an English-speaking guide.
Optional: Bird Park Extension
One of the city's most important tourist attractions, the Parque das Aves is located next to the entrance of the Iguaçu National Park. Inside the Parque das Aves you will be in a unique universe, surrounded by birds from all over Brazil and the world. There are more than 800 birds from 200 different species preserved in 16.5 hectares of spectacular Atlantic Rainforest in which you can walk with your friends and family when visiting Foz do Iguassu. The Parque das Aves has three immersion aviaries and a butterfly house, in which you can enter and be side by side with toucans, scarlet ibises, macaws, jays and thrushes. Over the course of this extraordinary tour you'll also find harpy eagles, owls, parrots and even reptiles such as alligators and the anaconda. By the end, you can relax in the restaurant with an exclusive view across the lake of flamingos or take as a souvenir a picture holding a macaw or next to a boa constrictor. Optional: Macuco Safari
The big adventure begins at the Macuco Safari entrance gates, located at kilometer 25 of the Cataratas Highway inside the Iguassu National Park, with embarkation in open jeep-towed wagons that permit an unobstructed view of the scenery along the trail. During the stretch of three kilometers through the jungle, multi-lingual guides point out examples of the flora and fauna of the Park. Orchids, palm trees, bromeliads, centenaria trees, as well as wild animals that occasionally cross the trail are pointed out by the guides. The hike - The second stage, a stretch of 600 meters (optional), is a hike on a trail that leads to a waterfall baptized "Macuco Falls". The waterfall - perfect for a refreshing dip on days of intense heat - spills down from a height of approximately 20 meters. Access is via a stairway carved into the ancient rock. The last stop is the Macuco Safari docks on the Brazilian side of the Iguassu River. In the water, inflatable bi-motor boats, constructed to withstand the rigors of the excursion, are secure and efficient vessels. Before embarkation, passengers receive life-vests and plastic containers in which to protect photographic and filming equipment. The boat travels up-river passing the canyon facing the rapids at a speed that permits the appreciation of the scenery. Rocks, animals and a lot of greenery completes the scenery until the base of the Falls is reached, next to the "great horseshoe" know as the "Devil's Throat". Waterfall shower - Rainbows, blue sky, mist and water in profusion, punctuate the spectacle that has as its high-point the area of the Falls baptized "The Three Musketeers". There the captain manuvers the boat in order to get close enough to provide the passengers with a quick and refreshing shower. Since at the end of the fun everyone normally ends-up wet, the passengers more sensitive to cold should not dispense with extra clothes to use after the boat excursion. Day 7|Foz do Iguaçu
Good morning! After a delicious breakfast in your hotel, our guide will pick you up for a full day adventure to the Argentinian Side of the Iguazu National park. The Argentinean side is very different from the Brazilian one; there are the three trails leading you through the nature in the park: The Lower Circuit: At a length of 1,700 meters, runways venture into the lush jungle to take direct contact with the breaking of the Dos Hermanas, Chico and Ramirez. Walking down a runway you can be at the foot of a huge seawall water which is the fall of Salto Bosetti and you will enjoy the steep falls in the Saltos Alvar Nuñez, Elenita and Lanusse. The Upper Circuit: a walk of 1,300 meters, elevated runways will take you on the fall line of several major jumps, reaching the edge thereof. It provides an overview of the whole area from a greater height. The Devil's Throat: Accessed through the Rainforest with the Ecological Train arriving at the Devil's Throat Station. From there, after a 1,000 meters walk, you will reach the enormous 'Devil's Throat'. You will walk around next to the falls to have a close look of the falls. You can feel the strength of the water and enjoy the 55.500 hectares of natural beauty! In the evening your driver will drive you back to your hotel.
Day 8|Foz do Iguaçu – Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at the hotel; Transfer to the airport, flight to Rio de Janeiro, where you will be picked up and taken to Buzios. Accommodation in a hotel on the tropical coast.

Breakfast at the hotel; Transfer to the Airport of Rio de Janeiro.
